Sligro (Q&A with their CEO) 🇳🇱
Monday February the 25th from 10:45 until 12:30
As one of the biggest wholesalers in the Dutch market, Sligro is a well known name for almost every person in the Netherlands. As a wholesaler they are dealing with B2B marketing, rather than B2C. This provides interesting new insights to an academic field that is mostly dominated by a B2C view.
Sligro will not come to campus for a regular lecture, but a Q&A session with their CEO is organized. The first half of the session will include presentations from their HR department, highlighted job openings and other possibilities, and from two people from their marketing department. They will provide us with info on the marketing activities of Sligro.
The second half of this activity will be the Q&A session with Koen Slippens, where you can ask him any- and everything that you would like to know. Questions can be submitted during the session on Pigeonhole. Edwin Blok – van Enck will be the interviewer for this session.

A rather undiscovered part of the marketing world is neuromarketing. Neuromarketing deals with the combination of marketing and neuroscience. By looking at the brain’s reaction to different stimuli, neuromarketeers aim to improve marketing performance.
Neurofied is an Amsterdam-based pioneer in this field. By offering workshops to companies, they help businesses improve their growth by using different aspects of neuromarketing. During the Markethings Week they will give a presentation on neuromarketing in general, and their role in this world specifically.

Databay is one of the leading market research companies in the Netherlands. Data-driven marketing strategies is what they believe in. By using the vast amounts of data available to the researcher, Databay aims to help companies optimizing their marketing strategies. With clients like KLM, McDonald’s, and Eneco, they have surely build up a solid portfolio over the last few years.
Wednesday February the 27th 16:45 until 18:30
Factory Lab is market research agency specialized in Internet of Things and LoRa. Still a start-up, they have made quite a name for themselves by working on the development of data loggers and the network of the future, every day! They will come to our campus to inform you about all the new possibilities available in the online marketing world.
